Today is the last day of the food expo. The “National Culinary Competition” will see the teams “Han Lai” and “Jin Xiang Tong De” battle for the championship title in the finals！ The competition runs from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Coinciding with the peak sales period for mooncakes at star-rated hotels, the expo is also offering unbeatable discounts not limited by the number of boxes ordered — and “available only during the food expo.” Discounts include 20% off at Yuanshan, 25% off at Taipei Fullon, and 10% off on President Mooncakes.

In particular, the “Dietary Culture Exhibition of One Prefecture, Two Towns, and Three Bangkas” offers hands-on making and free tasting of Lukang traditional cakes; the “LIYAL East Coast Flavor Exhibition” features regularly scheduled quiz contests and free tastings of creative dishes; “Bamboo Shoots, Tea Aroma, and Nantou’s Paper Beauty” includes hourly demonstrations of “Cai Lun paper-making,” free tasting of paper-thin meat slices, as well as an afternoon tea ceremony performance and free tea sampling; “Honey Taichung Fruit Delicacies” provides free tastings of super-fresh, certified fruits such as high-graft pears, honey mountain pears, Kyoho grapes, pitayas, and longans.
