The head chef at Mango Rooms comes from California and has studied cooking in Texas, so the menu boldly fuses Californian and Vietnamese elements into fusion seafood dishes full of creativity. For example, the complimentary appetizer features a salsa dip based on spicy mango sauce — truly unique. Additionally, the snapper fillet seasoned with ginger, mango, and garlic offers an astonishingly delightful flavor. What appears to be pasta — “Asia Sins” — is actually made from rice noodles, offering a chewy and springy texture. Topped with a tomato-based sauce, along with basil, onions, and locally sourced spices, it builds a rich layering of tastes that’s highly recommended.
