The North Face, in partnership with the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Administration, has combined various events from the Sun Moon Lake Fireworks Festival to present a brand-new trio of outdoor activities on National Day, October 10th. These include the Sacred Mountain Challenge, a lakeside hiking tour, and the Music & Fireworks Festival, encouraging the public to enjoy a healthy holiday at Sun Moon Lake during the Double Ten National Day break.
The day kicks off with the high-altitude Sacred Mountain Warrior Challenge in the morning, followed by an afternoon hiking event led by The North Face’s annual brand ambassador and “Dream Warrior” Chen Yanbo, offering participants stunning views of Sun Moon Lake. As evening falls, the Wilderness Music Concert features top-tier performers such as Dai Ailing and Wei Lian’an, who will take turns entertaining the crowd, creating a joyful autumn outing experience. In the comfortably mild month of September, The North Face also unveils a range of new autumn and winter multifunctional gear: breathable, quick-drying tops and lightweight hiking and trail running shoes, making outdoor activities and travel more enjoyable and comfortable this fall.

On the day of the Wilderness Music and Fireworks Festival, free entry begins at 5:30 PM at the Ita Thao Wharf in Sun Moon Lake. Renowned vocalists such as Dai Ailing, Wei Lian’an, the Wong Fu Band, Kimberley Chen, Fun4, and IO Band will take turns delivering electrifying performances, creating the most exciting outdoor musical event. With a star-studded lineup illuminating the autumn night over Sun Moon Lake and paired with dazzling, colorful fireworks, the festival promises to deliver an explosive atmosphere, celebrating National Day with joy across Taiwan and crafting a fully immersive audiovisual National Day celebration.
