Yangmingshan Tienlai Club has newly built Taiwan’s largest open-air hot spring bath, designed with concepts from Japanese architectural master Shintaro Koshino. Trial operations have now begun. With its spacious bathing space and diverse types of baths, it will spark a modern new revolution in the world of hot spring bathing. On October 15, Tienlai invited a hundred creative fans to soak, leading to all kinds of novel and quirky bathing methods. Some danced the horse dance right in the hot spring pool, while others celebrated Halloween early by soaking with ghosts. Tienlai Club’s brand-new baths became an instant hit just before the peak hot spring season.

The hot spring soaking season is approaching. To usher in a new era for the industry, Yangmingshan Tienlai Hot Spring Club specially solicited 2,000 netizens’ KUSO-style creative bathing ideas at the end of September. Today, it invited a hundred fans to realize their creative bathing dreams in Taiwan’s newest open-air hot spring. In the vast spring pool, methods such as doing the Gangnam Style horse dance and soaking with ghosts—breaking with tradition—emerged. Some even hoped to play with ghosts while soaking. Today, a blood plasma red wine pool was also set up in Tienlai Club’s new open-air bath. Such a wide array of creative soaking ideas can only be fulfilled in the 2,000-ping open-air hot spring area of Yangmingshan Tienlai Hot Spring Club.

Lin Hui-wen, General Manager of Yangmingshan Tienlai Hot Spring Club, said that this year marks the club’s 15th anniversary. The most popular open-air bath facility has been entirely revamped with tens of millions in investment. The goal is to herald a new era of hot spring bathing in Taiwan through innovative bathing methods, allowing guests to enjoy the nourishment of hot springs in a more expansive space. Tienlai’s new open-air bath also incorporates many modern architectural concepts, such as borderless pools and contemporary layered grilles, blending the lush green ridgeline of Beauty Mountain with the newly designed baths into a naturally aesthetic whole.
As autumn brings gusts of northeastern monsoon winds, Yangmingshan Tienlai Hot Spring Club has built Taiwan’s largest open-air hot spring bath, topping the island in both variety and size of pools. Now, it is kicking off this year’s hot spring season with an innovative and humorous approach. Recently, it launched a Halloween lodging package, creatively introducing “trick-or-treat”-themed stay activities to attract those who love to stand out and celebrate Halloween together, aiming to capture the creative business opportunities in the hot spring industry.
