The upcoming Taipei International Travel Fair, scheduled for October 26 at the World Trade Center Halls 1 and 3, will not only feature...discounts, but domestic hotels and hot spring inns will also heavily promote meal vouchers, accommodation, and hot spring entry tickets. Hotel meal vouchers are being discounted up to 52%, while some hot spring inn stays are even being offered at discounts as deep as 68%. Additionally, this year’s fair introduces a stamp-collecting activity where visitors can exchange 10 stamps for a lucky bag. A total of 8,000 lucky bags worth over NT$2.6 million will be given away, and fair tickets also allow participants to enter a lucky draw with prizes including cars and international flight tickets sponsored by airlines.

As for the meal vouchers, which are of most interest to foodies and gourmets, Taipei Fullerton Hotel is offering combined meal vouchers originally priced between NT$1,650 and NT$2,035, now available during the fair for just NT$799 to NT$999 — a discount of up to 52%. Victoria Hotel is offering a limited 50 daily servings of gourmet steak set meal vouchers at NT$1,300 each, and Michelin-style Italian afternoon tea sets for just NT$500 per voucher. Taipei Far Eastern Plaza Hotel’s Café weekday self-service afternoon tea for four guests is NT$1,760 — that’s NT$440 per person. The Sheraton Taipei Hotel’s Anton Hall four-person premium steak set, originally priced at NT$11,880, is now available with a coupon for just NT$6,999.

With cooler weather setting in, the peak season for hot spring bathing is gradually arriving. The Dapanggen Forest Hot Spring Resort’s original NT$450 open-air hot spring bath voucher is now just NT$290 per ticket on-site, valid every day with no expiration date. The Yangmingshan Tianlai Hot Spring Club’s open-air bath voucher offers a “buy 10 get 1 free” deal for just NT$3,999. The Wulai Pushi’s regular public bath voucher comes with a “buy one get one free” offer, averaging NT$450 per ticket. The Nikko Kaga Ya is introducing a new combo of afternoon tea plus public bath and Japanese lunch plus public bath, priced at NT$1,300 and NT$1,800 respectively, with a “buy 10 get 1 free” promotion. The Jiaoxi Guanxiang Century Hot Spring Club is even offering double-room stay vouchers and VIP room vouchers at just NT$3,399 and NT$4,299 each, with discounts reaching as low as 68%.
