1.TKK CAMP BBQ

Tkk Camping BBQ was specially introduced to Taiwan by the Gourmet Master fried chicken group from Korea, and the restaurant style is also modeled after local Korean setups. As soon as you walk in, you’ll see hanging lamps, tents, and more, creating the true feeling of being out in the wild for a camping trip. Then sit down to enjoy their signature barbecue—you’ll notice all the ingredients are served on iron plates and water is served in steel cups, simulating the experience of camping cookouts. Here, you can also try the “bento ramen” that Korean soldiers often eat. The popular Korean drama *Descendants of the Sun* recently featured a scene where the male and female leads ate bento ramen together in the dark, and TKK CAMP can perfectly recreate that scene.

Planned by owner Bruce, who loves outdoor sports, the place gives off a strong wilderness atmosphere right from the entrance, where a large wooden sign points to the seven major peaks of the world—the distances and directions are all real, making you feel closer to the Seven Summits. The interior design concept is based on an imaginary tree, and when you dine here, it feels like you’re eating under a tree. The kitchen resembles a cooking tent. Everything in the restaurant is set up to simulate the outdoors. To enhance realism, the utensils and furniture are actually used in outdoor settings. There’s even a hammock in the restaurant, and the toilet is also tightly themed around camping, giving the illusion that you’re inside a tent.

As for the food, the wide selection of craft beers from around the world, skewers, and the signature “Dutch oven dishes” are must-tries. A Dutch oven is a versatile pot that can be used for stewing, boiling, roasting, frying, and braising. Currently, the restaurant offers three types of Dutch oven dishes: Makauo roasted whole chicken, seafood pot, and wild game vegetable pot.
