When it comes to must-try desserts, chocolate is definitely a must. The sensation of it slowly melting in your mouth helps you forget everyday worries as you immerse yourself in its sweetness. Aside from flavor, unique shapes are also essential — and some businesses have even launched “planet chocolates,” whose cute designs have successfully caught the attention of netizens.
Located in Nantou, Vanilla Knight developed the highly eye-catching “planet chocolates” based on the design concept of the solar system’s planets. Featuring eight major planets plus the recently downgraded Pluto and the Sun, there are a total of ten different flavored chocolates. In addition to their colorful and psychedelic appearances, their flavors are also quite special.

The shop explained that this series of chocolates was created by the production team researching the planets and then developing ten distinct flavors based on their traits. These include Mercury with hints of rum, Earth with seasonal fruit flavors, Uranus with a cool minty liquor aroma, and Mars with a bittersweet raspberry taste, among others. They hope to leave a deep impression on consumers with each piece of chocolate. Recently, the fan page also launched a hidden version of starry sky chocolate, offering a multi-layered taste experience with coffee aroma and crispy biscuit textures.
In terms of production, they also don’t cut corners. Vanilla Knight pays close attention to temperature control, insisting on pouring the chocolate into molds at 27–28 degrees Celsius, followed by a special cooling method, ensuring each chocolate not only looks smooth and glossy but also has a “crispy” bite.
