To coincide with the "Crazy Dalí – Master of Surrealism" special exhibition, the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts will open its special exhibition starlight session for the first time on the evening of December 29. In addition to providing the public with more viewing time options, from 19:30 to 21:00 that evening in the first-floor Sculpture Hall, the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra will perform a series of exclusive starlight concert pieces specially curated for "Crazy Dalí", including the "Carmen" Suite and "Farruca" dances from the opera. The public only needs to present an admission ticket stub or ticket for the "Crazy Dalí" special exhibition stamped with the designated seal to participate. Attendees on the day will receive a Dalí mustache sticker upon entry, and after the concert, they can exchange their entry ticket stub for an exclusive gift from the Gaomei Art Museum's Dalí special exhibition at the information desk.

This starlight concert will focus on dance music. Under the baton of Yang Zhiqin, conductor of the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra, the ensemble will transform Dalí’s 2D visual artworks into a vibrant 3D surround-sound experience using musical magic. The melodies echoing through the Sculpture Hall of Gaomei Art Museum will make the space feel like a lively ballroom filled with dancing figures and laughter. Guests can also enjoy classic excerpts from the opera "Carmen", igniting dormant passions; the enchanting "Farruca" and "Jota" dances, with their seductive flamenco flair, invite everyone to dance the night away. Alongside pieces named after Dalí’s artworks, there will also be several classic melodies filled with passion, adventure, and melancholy, as well as a solo performance by Xue Zhizhang, principal musician of the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra, showcasing intense emotion and dazzling technique — all dedicated to fans of the crazy Dalí.
From now until December 29, visitors can simply present their "Crazy Dalí" special exhibition ticket stub or ticket at the Gaomei Art Museum ticket window to indicate their attendance at the starlight concert. The ticketing staff will stamp the ticket with the designated seal, which grants entry starting at 18:30 on the evening of December 29.
