Want to spend the night at the Yingge Ceramics Museum (Tao Museum) and gaze at the stars through its mysterious star-gazing skylight? The Yingge Ceramics Museum has collaborated with the New Taipei City Chapter of the National Youth Corps Foundation to organize the "2013 Little Clay Masters – Overnight at Tao Museum & Di Zi (Chinese Flute) Zhi’s Music Elves" winter camp. The event consists of two sessions: January 24–25 and January 31–February 1, each with a capacity of 40 participants. Students from the 2nd to 6th grades of elementary school are eligible to apply. The 2-day-1-night program costs NT$2,200 per person, and each participant will also receive a free di zi (Chinese flute).

This year’s "Little Clay Masters – Overnight at Tao Museum & Di Zi Zhi’s Music Elves" winter camp includes activities such as experiencing the wonderful world of di zi playing under the guidance of Di Zi Zhi, exploring the history of ceramics through learning worksheets led by the museum’s guides, DIY pottery-making to create one’s own ceramic artwork, and visiting the Ceramic Art Park to watch rare demonstrations by master potters, including foot-powered potter’s wheels, slip casting, wheel throwing, and kiln firing. The highlight of the event is spending the evening camping in tents with new friends and counting the stars through the star-gazing window in the children’s activity room.
