Furthermore, this week Cathay Pacific and Dragonair will offer an extra giveaway on Wednesday, May 8. Customers who purchase “Enjoy FUN” round-trip tickets to Hong Kong on the website that day will receive one round-trip Airport Express voucher for Hong Kong International Airport, while those who buy round-trip tickets to Seoul will get one specially designed Octopus card from Cathay Pacific. The “Enjoy FUN” promotional tickets ordered from today through May 9 must be used for travel between May 13 and June 30.

Every night at 8:00 PM sharp, Hong Kong’s dazzling lights come alive. Organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the “Symphony of Lights” is a light and music show that weaves together the illumination of 44 buildings across Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, including Bank of China Tower, Hong Kong City Hall, Central Plaza, International Finance Centre, Harbour City, and The Peninsula Hotel. With various lighting effects, it presents five themed segments: “A New Day Begins,” “Energy,” “Heritage,” “Building the Future,” and “Celebration.” It has been listed in the Guinness World Records as the “Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show in the World,” a spectacular sight that is truly a must-see in a lifetime.

Temple Street
Temple Street gets its name from its proximity to the Tin Hau Temple and is a long-renowned night market in Hong Kong. In the past, it was known as Men’s Street because it featured many stalls selling men’s clothing such as shirts and ties. Today, the market has over a hundred stalls offering not only affordable men’s and women’s clothing, watches, accessories, and other items, but also high-quality imitation designer bags at very low prices. Temple Street begins to fill with people after dusk and reaches its liveliest around 8 or 9 PM. However, due to the crowds, visitors should be wary of pickpockets.

Bar Area
Walking along Stanley Main Street, you’ll find one bar after another—this is the most famous bar area on the southern part of Hong Kong Island. Around dusk, Stanley Main Street begins to fill with people heading to their favorite bars. Since Stanley’s bars are particularly popular with foreign tourists, their décor often carries a touch of exotic flair.
