The eternal classic Slam Dunk among basketball fans takes to the skies with a Japanese low-cost carrier！ Japan’s Skymark Airlines, in collaboration with Slam Dunk creator Inoue Takehiko and the Japanese B.League, has launched a special livery plane “B.LEAGUE JET”.

The Japanese B.League has been collaborating with Inoue since 2016, allowing him to regularly meet and converse with players, as well as create illustrations of them, which were then published in the Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun. This time, they’ve teamed up to paint his artwork on an airplane.
Inoue Takehiko’s super cool artwork now adorns the fuselage of the plane.
The interior of the Slam Dunk livery plane also features many custom elements.
The special livery plane launched by Skymark Airlines will be in service until September 2020, and flight schedules will be announced on Skymark’s official website.
