The annual "Shuili Water Play Festival," organized by the Shuili Township Office in Nantou County, was originally scheduled to open on July 13, 2013, but due to Typhoon Soulik, it has been postponed and is now grandly opening today (the 28th). The main venue is at Shuili Aquatic Park. This year's Shuili Water Play Festival runs from today until August 18, for a total of 10 days over every Saturday and Sunday. Visitors from across the country are welcome to come to Shuili Aquatic Park to cool off, enjoy the water, and have a refreshing summer.

Shuili Aquatic Park boasts beautiful mountain and water scenery. During the festival, the park offers a variety of large and small water-friendly facilities such as inflatable water play equipment, fountains, and giant water buckets. Each week also features different performance groups, activities like "Water Drop Baby Pat Pat" and "Shuili Water Play Fist." In addition, the "2013 Shuili Water Play Festival" has set up a dedicated event website and FACEBOOK fan page to allow the public to stay updated with the latest news and updates.
