The oldest Peninsula Hotels group in Asia has launched the "Dragon Welcome" guest experience across its global properties, offering not only Chinese-style breakfast, Chinese newspapers, and Chinese TV channels, but also fully Chinese-language in-room dining menus, safes, and bedside control panels, along with Mandarin-speaking staff to serve guests, allowing even those with limited English from Greater China to fully enjoy their hotel stay.

Peninsula Hotels Group has launched the "Dragon Welcome" guest experience starting today. Nine Peninsula Hotels worldwide will offer Chinese-style breakfast, including dim sum, congee, noodles, soy milk, Chinese tea, and Chinese newspapers. Rooms will also be equipped with slippers, shaving supplies, toothbrushes, Chinese TV channels, and travel publications. Hotels can also provide electric kettles, tea, and other personal items upon request.

Additionally, in-room dining menus, room facility operation guides, safe and bedside control panel instructions are all available in simplified Chinese. The Hong Kong Peninsula Hotel has completed all room renovation projects, upgrading its room facilities with cutting-edge technology. Guests can set the main control panel language to traditional or simplified Chinese via the control board. Moreover, most Peninsula Hotels have arranged for Mandarin-speaking staff to provide more thoughtful service. Additionally, when hosting Chinese guests, the hotels carefully consider Chinese cultural traditions, striving to assign rooms with room numbers ending in “8” rather than “4.”
