The mastermind behind the third generation that has endowed Hello Kitty with more diverse and rich elements—Sanrio Kitty’s Chief Designer Yuko Yamagata—arrived in Taiwan to attend the Robot Kitty Future Park drawing meet-and-greet. She personally drew and signed on an exclusive limited-edition signature board for 20 fans, interacting closely with them. In addition, the organizers officially announced that Robot Kitty Future Park will move to Kaohsiung, fulfilling the expectations of enthusiastic central and southern Taiwan fans.

Since becoming the third-generation Kitty designer in 1980, Yuko Yamagata has breathed new life into Kitty, giving her greater diversity. She has also created characters such as Kitty’s boyfriend Daniel and pet Charmmy Kitty. To date, Kitty has become a popular icon with over 50,000 types of merchandise sold in 109 countries. The tech-inspired Robot Kitty has overturned the traditional cute elements of Hello Kitty, prompting Ms. Yamagata to personally visit Future Park to show her support and love for Robot Kitty through her actions.
Robot Kitty Future Park is entering its final countdown, with only 25 days left until the exhibition closes on October 20. Fans can not only take advantage of the last 25 days and the September Fan Gratitude Month promotions to visit the Taipei Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, but Robot Kitty Future Park will also be moving to Kaohsiung. The organizers stated: “Throughout the exhibition period, we have received numerous inquiries from people in central and southern Taiwan hoping that Robot Kitty Future Park could head south to make it easier for those who want to visit multiple times or cannot travel north. After long-term communication and evaluation, we have finally decided to hold the Robot Kitty Taiwan finale in Kaohsiung in mid-December!” The preliminary plan for Kaohsiung is now complete, and detailed information will be announced soon on the official website and Facebook fan page.
