To allow residents of Taichung to experience the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra’s spectacular musical performance, the Taichung City Government’s Cultural Affairs Bureau will simulcast the “Opening Night of the Berlin Philharmonic Asia Tour” concert in high definition at the Fulfillment Amphitheater on Friday, November 8. Starting at 5:00 PM on the day of the event, free tickets will be available for collection at the plaza in front of the Fulfillment Amphitheater (at the intersection of Wenxin Road and Xiangshang Road), with a limit of two tickets per person. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and music lovers are welcome to attend and enjoy the performance.

The “Opening Night of the Berlin Philharmonic Asia Tour” will feature the most magnificent and romantic sounds of German and Austrian music—Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7—as well as Boulez’s “Notations,” full of contemporary French flair. The carefully curated program not only showcases the top orchestra’s musical spirit of courageously expanding its repertoire, but also reflects its great importance and dedication to the opening performance in Taiwan. For those unable to attend in person, you are welcome to come to the Fulfillment Amphitheater to listen and enjoy the splendid musical notes of an autumn night. To enhance the quality of the viewing experience, the organizing bureau, the Cultural Affairs Bureau, reminds all audience members not to eat or smoke inside the venue, so we can together create an elegant environment for enjoying the performance.
