As December approaches, Christmas celebrations and dazzling light displays around the world are gradually lighting up. Singapore’s famous Orchard Road is already bustling at all times, but when the Christmas light show is switched on, it attracts an even greater influx of visitors from around the globe. This year’s Orchard Road light-up will be illuminated on the evening of November 23 at 6:00 PM, and the event will run until January 5, 2014.

On the night of the illumination, local school groups will also take turns performing various acts, and local jazz bands will join in the festivities. From 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, this tropical Christmas town will be filled with even more warmth and excitement. Meanwhile, the shopping malls around Orchard Road will also deck themselves out in dazzling festive lights, transforming this bustling shopping street into a Christmas market in the tropics.
