The sudden early snowfall that hit various parts of Hokkaido in mid-October signaled that this year’s winter has arrived particularly early. This year, experts from Furano, Eastern Hokkaido, and Sapporo are joining in the fun. The lecturers will start with the basics of winter railway independent travel, helping you understand Hokkaido’s transportation system so that even first-time snow country travelers have nothing to fear.
