Located inside“Chun Pure Job’s Tears”, the shop blends traditional Chinese sweet Job’s tears soup with Japanese matcha, plus daily handmade Q-firm white pearls, creating such a unique twist that draws many customers and makes it one of Tainan’s popular desserts.

“Chun Pure Job’s Tears” is tucked away in an alley of a traditional wet market. The interior features mainly wooden tables and chairs, along with vintage stoves, bamboo chairs, and Japanese-style landscaping, resulting in a Sino-Japanese fusion architectural style that fills the whole shop with a strong literary and retro atmosphere.

The shop mainly sells individual Job’s tears desserts,including three varieties: red Job’s tears tea, signature white pearls with red beans & Job’s tears, and ice cream Job’s tears.They use matcha from Kyoto’s Ippodo Tea. The shop makes its own hand-rolled white pearls, pairs them with freshly whisked matcha, and adds them to the red beans & Job’s tears. The silky smooth Job’s tears are complemented by rich matcha and sweet red beans, offering a velvety texture with a hint of sweetness, refreshing and layered in taste.
