The teddy bear craze that swept Taichung earlier continues to gain momentum. While some teddy bears have embarked on mini tours across central Taiwan, visiting spots like Taichung Park, Fengyuan Lantern Festival, and Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, Qiu Hong Valley’s Three A.House is also hosting a “Three Bears Bring Luck — Welcome to Taichung for the New Year” in-depth teddy bear exhibition from now until February 16. The event will feature handmade teddy bears from around the world and hidden editions, along with a special display and charity auction of rare teddy bears at the Twin Oaks Three A Architecture Clubhouse.

The “Three Bears Bring Luck — Welcome to Taichung for the New Year,” organized by Taichung developer Twin Oaks and the Taichung City Government, brings together previously adopted teddy bears displayed separately at Qiu Hong Valley, Ciyoudao, and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, as well as an exclusive hidden edition teddy bear designed by renowned designer Xiao Qingyang for Twin Oaks. The new exhibition will also showcase a collection of handmade plush teddy bears from around the world by the Teddy Bear Association, along with a 19th-century-style teddy bear sewing machine, allowing visitors who couldn’t make it to previous locations to enjoy these wonderful works all in one place.

The main exhibition venue is located at Qiu Hong Valley’s Three A.House, with viewing hours from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesdays to Fridays, and from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, including during the Lunar New Year and holidays, but closed on Mondays. The extended exhibition venue is the Twin Oaks Three A Architecture Clubhouse, open from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily, but closed during the Lunar New Year. In addition to the charity auction of rare teddy bears, with proceeds going to support public welfare organizations, a “Handmade Couple Teddy Bears” workshop is scheduled for February 9. Participation is by reservation only and can be booked via the Facebook fan page “Three A House.”
