In addition to giveaways before the race, the organizers put great effort into the route and venue planning. Choosing Dajia Riverside Park and the Taipei Children’s Amusement Park itself symbolizes the scenery along the Thames River, Hello Kitty’s hometown; the large Hello Kitty balloon arches at the start and finish lines, along with 10 uniquely designed Hello Kitty Q&A cutouts along the route sharing little stories about Hello Kitty, all serve to cheer on the hard-working runners. Cheer squads at every kilometer also express the determination to persevere and give it your all through dance and music.
