The lovable paper teddy bears of Taipei are making another surprise appearance. This time, the army of paper teddy bears has been spotted on the MRT train heading to “Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Station,” and they’ve brought along their good friend, the Formosan black bear, to meet everyone at the Civic Plaza of the National Theater & Concert Hall.

The “1600 Pandas World Tour – Taipei” public art exhibition recently concluded successfully at Taipei City Hall Plaza, where the super-cute army of paper teddy bears attracted over one million visitors.Starting March 14, this “adorable army” will continue to meet the public at the Civic Plaza of the National Theater & Concert Hall, joined by 200 additional paper Formosan black bears.It’s expected to create another wave of black-and-white cuteness.

To ensure the teddy bears and black bears arrive on time to meet the public at the National Theater & Concert Hall, the organizers specially arranged for the double bear squad to make a surprise appearance at the MRT Nangang Depot. They boarded the train bound for “Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Station,” where the bears instantly transformed into everyday commuters—some talking on the phone, reading newspapers, wearing scarves, carrying cameras, and even cuddling up together, their human-like antics both hilarious and heartwarming.
