From April 25 to May 4, the 2014 Macau Arts Festival is held at East 2D of Huashan 1914 Creative Park, allowing people in Taiwan to experience Macau through art, travel, taste, and closeness, and to personally feel the strong Macanese atmosphere. During the exhibition, there will be authentic Macanese food workshops and tastings, performances by local rock bands, Macanese cultural and creative handicraft workshops, and more. Those who successfully complete the experiences may even have the chance to win great prizes such as a three-day-two-night free trip to Macau or round-trip tickets to Macau, giving netizens the opportunity to visit and experience the charm of Macau firsthand.

During this event, starting from April 26, the “Macanese Cuisine Cooking Class with Chef Bao” will be held daily from 11:00–12:00 and 15:30–16:30. Additionally, 2–3 sessions of “Handicraft Workshops” such as “Super Tactile Rubber Stamping” and “Painted Mug Workshop” will be offered each day, along with live performances by the LAVY Band and the Renji Band. Both the handicraft and cooking classes require advance online registration, with limited spots available and each person allowed to sign up for only one class. The “Super Tactile Rubber Stamping” course involves the use of carving knives, so participants must be at least 12 years old.
