In spring, when flowers are in full bloom, besides cherry blossoms in March each year, the romantic golden trumpet trees also bloom one after another during this season. The golden trumpet tree trail along the Bajhang River dike near Jhuniun-Junghui Bridge is not only a place to admire the vibrant golden trumpet trees, but this March, the fun-filled Golden Trumpet Flower Market will also take place over two consecutive weekends.

This year, the Golden Trumpet Flower Market has a new trick up its sleeve — visitors can enjoy music, shop at the market, and even participate in the “Golden Trumpet DRESS CODE Lucky Draw” where wearing yellow clothing gets you a chance to win prizes.

Visitors who wear yellow clothing will receive one raffle ticket. Prizes include robot vacuum cleaners and air purifiers, with lucky winners drawn on-site every week.

This year’s Golden Trumpet Flower Market features a specialty market zone, a stage performance area, and a flea market zone. Many independent brands are taking part, such as the trendy brand “NAIVE STUDIO” that reinterprets Taiwan’s banana motifs, “Wu Le Cloth Works” showcasing quilted art, and “Sophia Loves Silly Portraits” offering live portrait drawing. The market will also offer local produce, handmade crafts, sundries, and light meals, with many natural farming brands and local cultural and creative goods hidden among the stalls.
