During the Taiwan High-Speed Rail Dragon Boat Festival transport period (May 30 to June 3), to provide maximum capacity and serve passengers better, the high-speed rail company has decided to add two more train services (one southbound and one northbound) during peak hours on the evening of May 30 (Friday) and the afternoon of June 2 (Monday) to alleviate congestion. Passengers can purchase tickets for these additional services starting at midnight on May 28 (Wednesday).

Taiwan High-Speed Rail is adding two more train services for the Dragon Boat Festival transport. The departure times and stopping patterns are as follows:

At the same time, the high-speed rail company will also dynamically add fully non-reserved seat services (excluding business class) that stop at all stations, depending on crowd conditions at stations, for key time slots such as southbound services after 14:00 on May 30 (Friday) and northbound services after 12:00 on June 2 (Monday), to help transport passengers.

During the Taiwan High-Speed Rail Dragon Boat Festival transport period, a total of 91 additional services have been planned over five days, bringing the total number of services to 766. Each service is equipped with 3 to 4 non-reserved seat cars to offer passengers more flexible and convenient travel options.

Passengers are encouraged to make use of convenience stores partnered with Taiwan High-Speed Rail, or the “T Express” mobile app for quick ticket booking and through-check-in services. Booking and picking up tickets early allows direct station entry and boarding; alternatively, using an Easycard affiliated card with auto-value enabled allows direct passage through turnstiles for non-reserved seats, helping you avoid crowded stations and plan your high-speed rail trip during the Dragon Boat Festival with ease.
