Get a sneak peek at New Taipei’s “Bubble Domes”! Night views that resemble glowing crystal balls in the dark

The Bali Cultural Park Camping Area, operated under contract by the High-Level Beach Management Office of New Taipei City Government, has recently introduced Taiwan’s only “Bubble Domes,” allowing visitors to feel as if they’ve stepped into SpongeBob’s home—where they can dine and even stay overnight. This has become a popular topic among netizens recently. Following an earlier inside look at the interiors of the Bubble Domes, ETtoday EBC News is exclusively bringing readers a nighttime view of the Bubble Domes. With warm lights shining outward from within, they look like giant crystal balls resting gently on the earth, adding an extra touch of romance.

Developed exclusively by Taiwanese businesses, the Bubble Domes come in two types: one fully transparent version for dining, and another semi-transparent one for overnight stays. Zhou Songzhi, the operational director of the Bubble Domes, explained that the Bubble Restaurant operates on a reservation basis, and guests can schedule time slots to use it. However, food must be brought by the diners themselves. The semi-transparent Bubble Domes offer overnight accommodation, furnished with a TV, air conditioning, a double bed, a refrigerator, and other amenities, allowing guests to lie back and gaze at the starry sky.

To enhance the ambiance, operators have not only laid artificial turf inside the Bubble Domes but also paired it with wooden tables and chairs to create a grassy dining atmosphere. When night falls, giant pendant lights cast a warm glow, making the transparent Bubble Domes resemble glowing crystal balls in the night, exuding a romantic and tranquil vibe that helps people relax even more while immersed in nature.
