The Kiln-Baked Mountain Village is part of the well-known bakery “A Little Sweet.” The entire venue combines fictional legends with cultural creativity and gourmet food to create a mysterious village setting, complemented by a fierce red giant that has sparked widespread discussion and become a new attraction. The Kiln-Baked Mountain Village is located next to Jielong Bridge. “It is said” that long, long ago, off the coast of Yilan, there was a “Red Crag” stone city. The Red Crag were red giants who lived peacefully with humans. However, after an earthquake destroyed the stone city, the giants fled to the Lanyang Plain and began harassing humans and stealing food. The surviving humans took refuge in the Mountain Village at the foot of Tiger Back Mountain. To resist the Red Crag, they stored food in what became the Lanyang Food Bureau and formed the Lanyang Defense Team to fight against the Red Crag.

The entire atmosphere of the Mountain Village is built around the “legend.” The Lanyang Food Bureau makes up the front section of the shop, where you can buy freshly baked bread and many fun and interesting souvenirs. Looking up, you can also see a huge statue of the Red Crag, angrily breaking through the windows of the village to steal bread, with the bread in his hand being the village’s best-selling signature “Rogue Bread.”

The second half is the Lanyang Defense Team, which is the restaurant area, serving hot meals, pasta, and drinks. The most iconic and popular item is the “Rogue Duck,” made with Rogue Bread and local cherry duck. Both the filling and portion size are very generous, making it ideal for sharing with others.
