The Kinabalu Climbathon is a Tough Challenge
The Kinabalu Climbathon is one of the most grueling mountain races in the world and the 9th edition of the SkyRunners World Series Circuit. Known as “the world’s toughest mountain race,” while regular hikers may take two days to reach the summit, participants in this race must climb to the top and descend in under three hours, pushing the limits of physical endurance and willpower.
This year’s event will officially take place on October 18–19. The organizers have invited top athletes from across Taiwan to scale Mount Kinabalu, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site with an altitude of 4,095 meters. Over the 21-kilometer course, participants will encounter a mix of asphalt roads, forest trails, and rocky paths. Not only will they have to cope with high altitude and changes in air pressure, but they’ll also need excellent physical fitness. If you enjoy challenging yourself and exploring your potential, the Kinabalu Climbathon is your best choice for an unforgettable adventure.

The Osaka Marathon is a charity marathon that provides all participants, spectators, volunteers, and others involved in the event with an opportunity to engage in charitable activities, aiming to promote a culture of philanthropy. In addition, to gain broader support, the event has expanded its range of charitable initiatives. Aside from the entry fee, each runner is encouraged, in line with the spirit of charity, to make a donation of at least 2 units (each unit being 500 yen). All proceeds will go to charitable projects run by related organizations.
2014 Standard Chartered Kuala Lumpur Marathon

As the capital and a major tourist city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur boasts a diverse mix of ethnicities and religions. Running near the equator at 3 degrees north latitude, in the early morning sunshine, you’ll pass by famous Malaysian landmarks such as the Petronas Twin Towers and the Istana Negara. It’s undoubtedly an exceptional event that combines sightseeing with sports.

2014 Honolulu Marathon in Hawaii
The Honolulu Marathon in Hawaii was first held in 1973 and has been going strong for over 40 years. Taking place every December, it lets you enjoy the swaying coconut palms along Hawaii’s coastline. There’s no limit on the number of participants and no official cutoff time, allowing you to run at your own pace and fully enjoy the experience. And there’s even a warm Hawaiian donut waiting for you at the finish line!
The route starts on Ala Moana Boulevard—“Ala Moana” means “path along the coast” in Hawaiian. After heading west toward downtown Honolulu, you loop back to Ala Moana Boulevard, then continue east through Waikiki and Diamond Head, following the shores of Maunalua Bay before turning back at Hawaii Kai. The finish line is at Kapiolani Park in Waikiki. For the most part, aside from two hills, the course is flat and straight, spanning approximately 42 kilometers.
