The Korean variety show "Running Man" visited Taiwan last month for its "1470 Amusement Park Special," sparking a huge fan frenzy. Since its debut in 2010, the Korean variety show "Running Man" has become a sensation across Asia, visiting places such as Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia… Each stop has drawn fans rushing to airports and chasing cars. In August this year, the Running Man cast visited Taiwan for the first time to film the "1470 Amusement Park Special." The whirlwind 15-hour itinerary sent local fans into a craze. In the recently aired "1470 Amusement Park Special," the hosts and guests challenged the most thrilling rides at famous theme parks across Korea while completing assigned missions. Those who failed to reset the score of 1470 to zero had to fly 1,470 kilometers to Taiwan to face an ultimate punishment—riding hyper-stimulating amusement park attractions.
Agoda.com has specially searched out the theme parks visited by the Running Man cast, including Korea’s Wolmi Theme Park, Tongdo Fantasia, Seoul Land, Gwangju Uchi Park, Everland, as well as the well-known Taiwan’s Leofoo Village Theme Park, letting fans “run” alongside the Running Man cast!
Wolmi My Land– Incheon, South Korea
Wolmi My Land is a comprehensive theme park located on Wolmi Island in Incheon, renowned for its 4,000 pyeong space and numerous large-scale attractions. In the "Running Man" special, hosts Kim Jong-kook and guest Kim Tae-woo visited Wolmi My Land and had to complete a mission on the park's must-ride attraction—the pirate ship. But don’t think the pirate ship they rode is the same as others; standing one level taller than the typical two-story pirate ship, Wolmi My Land’s version is one of the most thrilling rides in Korea. Additionally, Disco Pang Pang in Wolmi Island Theme Park is another popular fixture often featured in Korean variety shows, such as the well-known "We Got Married."

Tongdo Fantasia– In South Korea’s South Gyeongsang Province
Tongdo Fantasia is located in Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province, close to Ulsan, Busan, and Miryang, and is the largest theme park in the Yeongnam region. The roller coaster, towering 40 meters above the lake with a 920-meter track length, featuring three inversions and two consecutive 360-degree loops, is the ride where the so-called “Monday Couple” Gary and Korean singer Ailee took on a high-altitude karaoke challenge. Meanwhile, hosts HaHa and Skull rode the APOLLO, a 360-degree spinning ride that turns your world completely upside down. Not only did Running Man visit Tongdo Fantasia, but the park’s Ferris wheel was also the filming location for the romantic scene in the hit idol drama "My Love from the Star," where supporting actor Park Hae-jin confessed his love to actress Jun Ji-hyun, and lead actor Kim Soo-hyun paused time before stealing a glance at her.
