At the inaugural press conference, Tigerair Taiwan announced that the popular comedy duo “Hao Jiao Xiang Qi” (浩角翔起) would be its annual brand ambassadors. Starting now, advertisements featuring Hao Zi and A Xiang will be heavily broadcasted. In addition to print and online ads, the public can spot the “Hao Jiao Xiang Qi” backpacker taxi fleet cruising the streets and hear their voices on the radio “selling” Tigerair Taiwan, fully showcasing the airline’s new warm, sincere, and passionate brand ethos—leading travelers on new journeys.

In addition, Tigerair Taiwan also specially displayed and offered samples of its seasonal in-flight meals to guests present. Unlike other carriers that sell pre-packaged meals, Tigerair Taiwan’s inflight cuisine—including “Nostalgic Pork Chop Rice,” “Pumpkin Rice Noodles,” and “Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice”—are all freshly prepared by air catering services, a far cry from the vacuum-packed meals commonly used by foreign low-cost airlines. Taiwanese cuisine meal sets (main dish plus drink) start from just NT$250. The cabin also offers a variety of light snacks (salads, sandwiches), instant noodles, snacks, and beverages for passengers to choose from freely. Moreover, unlike other foreign low-cost airlines operating in Taiwan, Tigerair Taiwan’s customer service hotline will be staffed by personnel speaking authentic Mandarin, Taiwanese, and fluent English. The launch of Tigerair Taiwan can truly be called a “Taiwan-flavored takeoff.”
It’s worth mentioning that every Tigerair Taiwan aircraft will feature a “Taiwan” livery. The livery theme, “The Leaping Heart Above Formosa’s Clouds,” combines calligraphic strokes with rounded English fonts to spell out “Taiwan,” showcasing Taiwan’s cultural heritage and the vitality of the new generation. It symbolizes Tigerair Taiwan’s brand positioning of combining international professionalism with local approachability. The outline of Taiwan’s main island is specially paired with clouds in the sky to form the shape of a “T,” symbolizing Tigerair Taiwan’s ambition to take off from Taiwan, soar through the skies, and explore the world. For color scheme, Tigerair Taiwan’s corporate standard bright orange is used as the base to create a warm gradient, conveying the airline’s “warm, sincere, and passionate” brand personality, which then settles into a calm earth tone, expressing Tigerair Taiwan’s grounded commitment to cultivating its roots in Taiwan.

He hopes that with this new type of air service, passengers can “pay what you want, buy what you need,” and that the onboard Taiwanese cuisine, customer service, and promotional efforts all demonstrate the airline’s ambition.
