Meanwhile, visitors can explore the European Christmas Market from Munich, Germany, immersing themselves in the joyful atmosphere of a northern winter. At Tokyo German Village’s Winter Illumination, over 2 million bulbs create a fantastical world. Beyond the allure of dazzling lights, “illuminating the light within the heart” is what makes the Tokyo German Village light show truly special. The interplay of light and shadow crafts beautiful scenes reminiscent of storybook illustrations, touching the hearts of all who see them.

Singapore’s famous Orchard Road, already bustling on regular days, sees an even greater influx of visitors from around the world when its Christmas light displays are switched on. On the night of the lighting ceremony, local school groups take turns performing, and local jazz bands also join in the celebration. From 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, the tropical Christmas city becomes even cozier and more lively. Nearby shopping malls along Orchard Road will also deck their exteriors with dazzling festive lights, transforming this popular shopping boulevard into a Christmas market in the tropics.

Ashikaga Flower Park is the largest light display venue in the Kanto region and was once ranked second in Japan in a Yahoo! Japan light display competition. Themed “Garden of Glowing Flowers (光るの花の庭),” Ashikaga Flower Park uses 2.5 million bulbs to recreate a vibrant sea of blossoms, with colorful lights crafting a fantastic, dreamlike world. In neighboring Gunma Prefecture, Lake Haruna, usually tranquil, transforms into a dazzling fantasy realm every winter. Centered around the Lake Haruna Rest Area, over 500,000 lights are lit, accompanied by laser shows and fireworks over the lake. During the festival period, a Christmas tree and large illuminations are set up in the center of Lake Haruna.
