Namie Amuro Joins Jolin Tsai in Filming MV at Wufeng Lin Family Garden, a Historic Site Reserved for Two Taiwanese and Japanese Divas

Jolin Tsai’s new album "Play" was released on the 15th. The new song “I’m Not Yours” from the album is her first attempt at composing music, and she invited Japanese singer Namie Amuro to sing the Chinese version together. To showcase the clash and fusion of Eastern and Western cultures in dance music...The two were also spotted by the media on the 11th heading to the historic Wufeng Lin Family Garden in Taichung to film the MV.

To create a classic and luxurious setting, the MV was specifically filmed at the grand hall of the Lin Family Garden. The grand hall is the only surviving traditional Fujian opera stage in Taiwan. Its Min-Zhe architectural style features exquisitely carved beams and painted rafters that are captivating. Spanning five bays in width, the spacious main courtyard was once used by the Lin family to entertain guests. The courtyard also included a stage and a two-story audience hall, which hosted wildly popular performances in its heyday. The Lin family even had its own private opera troupe. The grand hall symbolized the family's peak prosperity. Though it has been renovated, it remains intricately detailed and steeped in old-world charm, perfectly setting the stage for the MV’s lavish palace atmosphere.
