With over 40 years of history, Liu Fu Inn has recently introduced its Roast Duck in Three Ways at its signature restaurant, Golden Phoenix Hall. However, as a whole duck serves quite a large portion, it’s best enjoyed with a group of friends. Solo diners or couples might find it hard to fully enjoy this dish. To make it possible for smaller groups to savor roast duck, Liu Fu Inn now offers an Abalone & Roast Duck Individual Set. In addition to the Roast Duck in Three Ways, the set includes abalone, scallop braised loofah, shrimp spring rolls, two choices from the dim sum trolley, and unlimited access to the Hong Kong-style dessert bar. The price is just 499 NT$ per person.
Liu Fu Inn’s Roast Duck in Three Ways consists of crispy skin slices, pine nut shredded duck, and a duck carcass soup with pickled vegetables. The roast duck comes from authentic Lanyang River cherry ducks weighing 3 kg each, sourced from Yilan. The ducks are marinated with the inn’s secret spices for 8 hours, then blanched, air-dried, brushed evenly with maltose-vinegar glaze, and roasted until the skin turns a naturally bright color and achieves a crisp, fragrant, and juicy texture, while the meat remains rich and flavorful.

Additionally, Liu Fu Inn has launched new-style Hong Kong dim sum that incorporates seasonal elements, including mango pineapple buns, mango sago dessert, truffle smooth rice noodle rolls, golden-thread taro cakes in two colors, fresh scallop Q cabbage, and Cantonese-style abalone soup dumplings.
Liu Fu Inn’s Roast Duck in Three Ways using the open-flame method is now officially available. The original price is 1,800 NT$; the introductory price is 1,680 NT$ (for a whole duck). As for the Abalone & Roast Duck Individual Set, the price is 499 NT$, and includes: fresh abalone in oyster sauce, Roast Duck in Three Ways (one serving each of sliced skin duck, pine nut shredded duck, and duck carcass soup), scallop braised loofah, two selections from the dim sum trolley (choices include crab roe shaomai, shrimp shark fin dumplings, beef meatballs, soy sauce spare ribs, oyster sauce chicken feet, pearl meatballs, BBQ pork buns, squid cakes, saltwater dumplings, sesame balls, BBQ pork puff pastries, spring rolls, fried crispy milk, silver thread rolls, screw-shaped rolls, radish cakes), one shrimp spring roll, and unlimited access to the Hong Kong-style dessert bar (options include sago pudding, almond tofu jelly, sesame paste, purple rice porridge, egg custard, coffee jelly, osmanthus jelly, and red bean jelly).
