The Nam Van ‘Art & Culture Lakeside’ is expected to open on June 3. From June to December, various tourism facilities will be gradually opened to the public, including pedal boats on the water, special cultural performance activities, catering services, cultural and creative shops, art exhibition halls, indoor craft markets, and book fairs, allowing visitors to enjoy the Nam Van Lake area. It is suitable for families to spend quality parent-child time together. You can ride a pedal boat to admire the beautiful scenery around Nam Van Lake, sip coffee beverages in the lakeside breeze, or enjoy the dazzling night view in the evening. It is a highly worthwhile new leisure destination to explore.

The opening hours for various activities are as follows:
Cultural and creative shops, art exhibition halls, indoor craft markets, and book fairs: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Doll making, paper crafts, and puppet making: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM on weekends
Parent-child craft market: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM on June 3; 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM from June 4 to 12
Weekend craft market: Starting June 18, 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Pedal boats: Starting June 4, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tourism Institute Café: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Performance activities: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM on weekends

In addition, Macao’s annual Lotus Flower Festival will also beautifully unfold from June 18 to 26. June is the best time to admire lotus flowers. This year’s festival features the theme variety “Luoxia,” with the main exhibition venue at the Taipa Houses–Museum in Coloane themed “Misty Rain over Jiangnan.” The design elements of Jiangnan-style architecture complement the wetland lotus flowers, creating a mutually enhancing effect. Other exhibition venues include Lou Lim Ieoc Garden, certain squares, and major tourist attractions where visitors can appreciate the captivating beauty of lotus flowers from different perspectives.
