The Maokong Gondola has planned exclusive promotional periods for various counties and cities. The “Copper Coin Prices to Ride the Maokong Gondola Across North, Central, South, and East Taiwan” county/city promotions run from March 4 to May 5. Residents of northern, central, southern, and eastern regions (including outlying islands), during their respective county/city promotional periods, can present an ID card, driver’s license, household registration booklet, or other government-issued identification proving their place of residence. By visiting any information desk at the Maokong Gondola stations, they can purchase a one-way ticket for NT$50, with no limit on the number of stops.

Besides enjoying the natural beauty of Maokong, visitors can also savor Tieguanyin tea and local mountain delicacies on the mountain, making for a very relaxing experience. The Maokong Gondola Zoo also offers free audio guide devices for loan, allowing visitors to gain deeper insights into the local culture and customs of Maokong. Additionally, each Maokong station’s information desk provides audio guide leaflets. Visitors can freely take one and scan the QR code on the leaflet with their mobile phone to enjoy the same convenient audio guide service.
