The annual Wuling Cherry Blossom Season begins on February 13. In addition to enjoying the captivating view of cherry blossoms in full bloom, the Wuling National Forest Recreation Area also suggests that visitors explore multiple attractions in the park and plan a journey to “admire flowers, watch fish, and escape the hustle and bustle.”

The “Wuling Suspension Bridge” near Wuling Lodge serves as an ecological window to observe the national treasure fish, the Formosan landlocked salmon. Beneath the bridge flows the upper reaches of the Qijiawan Stream—Taoshan West Creek—where crystal-clear water, lush green mountains, and a blue sky create a picturesque scene. Deep within the forest recreation area trails lies the Taoshan Waterfall, about 80 meters high, which is one of the sources of the Qijiawan Stream.
