To promote the “Dreams I Dreamed: Yayoi Kusama Asia Tour Exhibition Taiwan Stop” in both Kaohsiung and Taichung, a special interconnected celebration event titled “Dreaming with Yayoi – The Playful Dots Party” has been planned. On March 22, Yayoi Kusama’s birthday, visitors who purchase two exhibition tickets at the ticket counter will receive one free “Yayoi Kusama Dots DIY Kit.” From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM that day, a series of pumpkin craft workshops will be held at the outdoor circular plaza of the KMFA, including silk-screen printing experiences, ribbon art creation, and creative balloon activities. These are integrated with the background of Yayoi Kusama’s rise to fame in New York City during the 1960s, incorporating retro polka-dot fashion elements that complement the exhibition. Through the “Pumpkin Garden Playground” activities, everyone can witness the rise, retreat, and re-emergence of the Queen of Dots.
