To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the beloved anime series Chibi Maruko-chan, based on the famous manga by Momoko Sakura, a special exhibition titled “Chibi Maruko-chan School Festival” will be held at Huashan 1914 Creative Park from June 19 for a period of three months. The full-price ticket is 280 NTD, early-bird tickets purchased before May 7 are 180 NTD, and presale tickets from May 8 to June 18 are 200 NTD.

Chibi Maruko-chan is a story inspired by the childhood (Showa 49, i.e., 1974) of its author, Momoko Sakura, filled with nostalgic elements of the 1970s. The setting is Shimizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, and the series revolves around the everyday life of Maruko and her family and classmates, touching on themes of family, friendship, and daily adventures—filled with both laughter and tears that bring back memories of childhood innocence.

In the blink of an eye, the Chibi Maruko-chan anime has accompanied many people for 25 years.
