The "Mori Art Museum" in Roppongi Hills and the Roppongi Hills observation deck "Tokyo City View" will reopen on April 25 and April 29, 2015 respectively, following renovations.

Since its opening, the "Mori Art Museum" has hosted numerous "Special Exhibitions" introducing various forms of contemporary art from around the world, as well as small solo exhibitions called "MAM Project" for talented emerging artists globally. Following its reopening, the museum plans to introduce three new types of exhibition activities: "MAM Collection," "MAM Screen," and "MAM Research." "MAM Collection" will sequentially exhibit works from the Mori Art Museum collection in the permanent exhibition rooms; "MAM Screen" will shift from its previous format to feature video works as standalone special exhibitions; and "MAM Research" will showcase research and the evolution process related to exhibitions. This transformation aims to turn the museum into a space where modern art can be experienced through multiple perspectives. Until Sunday, July 5, the special exhibition "Minimal Form: Where Does Beauty Come From?" will be held, and a museum café and restaurant are also scheduled to open in late May.
