Following its Taipei Main Station and Xinyi branches, Hong Kong’s Michelin one-star restaurant “Tim Ho Wan” has officially announced the opening of its third branch in Taichung’s Dayeh Takashimaya on June 12. In addition, ahead of the peak summer shopping season, Dayeh Takashimaya has also introduced the Japanese affordable fashion brand GU, which opened on May 29. The department store has also successively invited brands such as H&M and GAP to set up shop, striving for the top department store position in Taichung.

To welcome the arrival of the peak summer shopping season, Taichung’s Dayeh Takashimaya has successively invited a number of well-known food and fashion retailers to join. In addition to the internationally renowned Xiao Long Bao (soup dumpling) specialty restaurant Din Tai Fung, which has been located on the B2 floor, the Hong Kong-style dim sum restaurant Tim Ho Wan is now announcing its opening on June 12 with a 100-ping branch right next to Din Tai Fung on B2. Other food outlets within Dayeh Takashimaya include Afternoon Tea, Nest Nest Private Kitchen, and Food Paradise. With the addition of Tim Ho Wan, visitors are offered an even more diverse and rich selection of dining options.
