With summer vacation here, many parents are planning to take their kids out for some fresh air and bonding time. To this end, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation has launched a “Parent-Child One-Day Ticket, Buy One Get One Free” promotion from now until August 30. The offer allows two people (one adult and one child) to travel together for the price of one, with unlimited rides so the whole family can enjoy a relaxing holiday on weekends and holidays.

This is the first time Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation has issued the “Parent-Child One-Day Ticket.” From June 19 to August 30 during 23 weekends and public holidays, the tickets will be available at MRT station service counters for NT$150 each. With the ticket, one adult and one child (aged 6–12) can ride the Taipei MRT together for free. The ticket is valid for unlimited rides on the day of purchase — go wherever you want to go.

Additionally, Taipei Rapid Transit reminds everyone that the “Parent-Child One-Day Ticket” will be on sale only on weekends and public holidays from June 19 (Friday) to August 30 (Sunday), and will be available at all MRT station service counters. The ticket is valid for the day of purchase only and cannot be used after that date.
U-Pass North-South Pass available. Works for both Taipei MRT and YouBike.
