Admire the most stunning lakeside views – New resting chairs installed at Dahu Park Station

Taking the Taipei MRT to Dahu Park Station on the Wenhu Line, you’ll find large floor-to-ceiling windows on the second floor that give every visitor an unobstructed view of Dahu Park’s picturesque lake. Many stop by the windows to admire the lovely scenery. Now, to help everyone enjoy the view even more comfortably, Taipei MRT has newly installed six “resting chairs” right in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing busy urbanites passing through to slow down, take in the scenery, and unwind.

The six resting chairs are located on the second-floor lobby near Exit 2 of Dahu Park Station, providing a place for passengers to take a break. Right next to the station is Dahu Park, which is not only home to the well-known Wisteria Bridge and Zigzag Bridge, but also saw improvements last year by the Taipei City Government to its lawn area, fishing zone, planting beds, pathways, and pavilions. Consider planning a leisurely urban hike on your holiday to stroll and relax here while enjoying a forest bath rich in phytoncides. Additionally, nearby Bailus Mountain, standing at 142 meters above sea level, features gentle hiking trails suitable for families. The mountain is covered in dense woods that provide ample shade, making the walk cool and refreshing, leaving you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
