As Typhoon Chan-hom, a medium-strength typhoon, approaches, some activities and transportation services have been suspended, postponed, or canceled. Below is the latest information on changes.

[High-Speed Rail]
The Taiwan High-Speed Rail announced that trains will operate normally until 3:00 PM today. From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, some trains will be canceled, and tickets can be refunded within one year without a fee.

[Road Transportation]
Provincial Highway 7 (North Cross-Island Highway) will be preemptively closed starting at 10:00 AM and is expected to reopen at 7:00 AM on Saturday, November 11.
Provincial Highway 2 (Coastal Highway), sections 67K–71K (Bishah Fishing Port) and 75K–84K (Rui Bin to Bi Tou), are expected to be preemptively closed at 2:00 PM.
Provincial Highway 9 (Beiyi Highway), sections 15K–30K (Shiding) and 40K–52K (Pinglin to Bi Hu), are expected to be preemptively closed at 4:00 PM.
Provincial Highway 9A (Xinwu Road), section 9K–19K (Wulai), is expected to be preemptively closed at 4:00 PM.
 
[Flights]
◎ EVA Air
Flights BR186 and BR185 between Taoyuan and Okinawa are canceled.
Flight BR112 from Taoyuan to Okinawa has been delayed from 6:45 AM to 8:15 AM.
Flight BR113 from Okinawa to Taoyuan has been delayed from 10:15 AM to 12:10 PM.
Flight BR752 from Taoyuan to Pudong, originally at 12:20 PM, has been delayed to 1:20 PM. Other flights remain normal.
◎ Uni Air
All Uni Air routes between Taipei Songshan and other cities before 12:00 PM are canceled for the entire day. Flights after 12:00 PM will be decided based on weather conditions.
◎ Mandarin Airlines
All domestic flights departing from Taipei today have been canceled. Flights departing from Taichung and Kaohsiung remain operating as normal.
Flight AE 2282/2283 between Taichung and Ryukyu (Okinawa) is canceled.
◎ TransAsia Airways
All Taipei round-trip flights today have been cancelled. Flights departing from or arriving at Kaohsiung after 1:00 PM are also cancelled.
◎ Far Eastern Air Transport
Except for FE021, FE061, FE081, and FE082 which will operate as normal, all other domestic flights have been cancelled.

【Ferries】
According to the Emergency Response Team of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications’ Maritime and Port Bureau, a total of 56 ferry services have been suspended today, including: 2 services between Keelung and Matsu, 2 between Su'ao and Hualien (Lina Ferry), 2 between Matsu Fu’ao and Fuzhou-Mawei (Anqi Ferry), 6 between Matsu and Juguang (Matsu Star), 8 between Kinmen and Shijing, 12 between Fugang and Green Island, 4 between Houpihu and Orchid Island, 4 between Fugang and Orchid Island, 3 between Kaohsiung and Magong (Taihua Ferry), 1 between Taichung and Pingtan (Sea Star), and 12 between Nangan and Beigan (Minzhu No. 8).
 
【YouBike】
The YouBike official website announced on the 9th that all stations will suspend operations starting at midnight on the 10th, though returning bikes remains possible. Service centers will also be closed, and the resumption time will be announced based on weather conditions.
 
【MRT】
Taipei Metro lines will operate as usual on the 10th, with intervals adjusted depending on the situation. The Maokong Gondola, Children’s Amusement Park, Beitou Guesthouse, MRT Gift Shop, Taipei Arena Ice Rink, and Lost and Found Center will all be suspended.

The event “Little Flight Attendant Activity” originally scheduled for July 11 has been postponed to Saturday, August 1, in the morning.
New Taipei
◎ Shifen Waterfall Park
Admission suspended starting July 10. Reopening date will be announced after the typhoon warning is lifted and park recovery assessed.
Taoyuan
◎ Dongyanshan Forest Recreation Area, Taoyuan Daxi Jingguo Memorial Hall, Lalashan Visitor Center and Housihhu Area, Cihu Visitor Center, Jiupanshan Villa Area, Xiaowulai Skywalk, Sky Rope Bridge, Waterscape Garden, and Lalashan Baleng Ancient Trail Ecological Area—all closed starting July 10. Reopening times will be announced separately.
Yilan
◎ Yilan Children’s Folklore and Handicraft Festival temporarily closed on July 10.
◎ Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area closed from 2:00 PM on July 9 through July 10, with no accommodation services available.
Hualien
◎ Chinan, Fuyuan National Forest Recreation Areas, Lintianshan Forestry Culture Park, Danongdafu Flatland Forest Park, Ruisui Ecological Education Center, and all related trails are currently not open to visitors.
Pingtung
◎ Beinan National Trail and Shuishuiying Ancient Trail remain closed and applications for Hui’gu Villa are suspended.
Chiayi
◎ Alishan National Scenic Area and all trails within the area are temporarily off-limits.
Dongshi Forest District Office

◎ The four national forest recreation areas — Daxueshan, Baxianshan, Hehuanshan, and Wuling — and their associated trails are currently not recommended for visitation.
