In 2005, *China National Geography* magazine selected China’s most beautiful villages, and Hemu Township was on the list. Since then, more and more people have begun to notice this place. Hemu Township offers different scenic wonders in each season. In summer, flowers bloom in profusion—poppies, peonies, and lilies can often be seen dotting the landscape, while livestock graze leisurely by streams on the grasslands, filling the land with vitality. The best time to visit, however, is in late September when autumn arrives. The birch forests surrounding the village turn golden, complemented by mist, emerald-green mountains, and wisps of smoke rising from traditional wooden houses, creating a subtly magnificent and beautiful scene.
