Shanghai Disneyland is expected to officially open in spring 2016, becoming the first Disney park on the Chinese mainland. Recently, Shanghai Disneyland gave eager fans an early look at its six themed lands, including “Mickey Avenue,” “Gardens of Imagination,” “Fantasyland,” “Tomorrowland”… Among them, next to “Tomorrowland,” two exclusive experience zones specially designed for Shanghai Disneyland have been planned: “Star Wars Launch Bay” and “Marvel Universe,” allowing visitors to get up close with their favorite heroes—an exciting prospect indeed.

The six themed lands of Shanghai Disneyland include: “Mickey Avenue,” the world’s first greeting street themed around Mickey Mouse and his friends, where guests can freely hug Disney characters, alongside a variety of themed shops offering all Disney souvenirs in one place; “Gardens of Imagination,” combining nature with whimsical creativity, featuring seven magical little gardens that captivate visitors; “Fantasyland,” the largest land in the park and home to the tallest and most beautiful fairy-tale castle in the world, where guests can encounter familiar Disney stories.
