The official Japanese anime "Anpanman," a beloved classic that has accompanied generations through childhood, is set to open its first overseas official store, "Anpanman Shop (ANPANMAN Official Shop Taipei)," in Taipei on September 10.

Anpanman was created by manga and picture book artist Takashi Yanase. It is Japan’s first picture book themed around helping those in need, with the author hoping to "convey love and courage to children around the world." The story teaches children that by giving to others, they too can feel warmth and joy. The anime has aired over a thousand episodes and is deeply loved by audiences of all ages.

Now, to allow more people to experience the creator’s heartfelt message, the creators have decided to expand Anpanman overseas this year. Considering Taiwan’s deep understanding of Japanese culture and the fact that Anpanman has been airing on Taiwanese cable TV since 2000, having built up significant popularity, the first overseas official store, "ANPANMAN Official Shop Taipei," will officially open on September 10 at "Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A8, Taipei Xinyi New Life Square." With the theme "Play and Learn Happily with Anpanman," it will meet fans in person.
