The newly completed Xinglong Bridge in Hsinchu County, which opened to traffic in mid-June, not only eases traffic between Zhubei and Hsinchu Science Park but also links the Zhubei bicycle path with Hsinchu City’s Gongdao 5th Road. From the bridge, visitors can enjoy views of Freeway 68 and experience the thrill of high-speed trains speeding past nearby. It has quickly become a popular spot for cycling and jogging, offering a great way to unwind on weekends.

After its completion, the Xinglong Bridge was equipped with pedestrian and bicycle lanes that connect to the riverside bike paths beneath the bridge, forming a looped network that links both the north and south banks of the Touqian River. It has become a popular destination for friends to cycle or jog together, recently emerging as a top exercise spot. Nearby, the riverside park by the Touqian River is also a favorite weekend hangout for baseball and softball enthusiasts who gather to play, swing, pass, and sweat out the stresses of daily work.
