The annual romantic Qixi Festival takes place on August 20th, with various Valentine’s events being held across Taiwan for everyone to enjoy. In the northern region, aside from the Dadaocheng Music Valentine’s Day event being postponed due to a typhoon, there are also other activities such as the “Love in the Happy North Coast” event organized by the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration; in Tainan, an entire month-long Qixi Carnival is launched in August, while in eastern Yilan, there’s the Magpie Bridge Lantern Festival to attend. As for outlying islands, the dazzling Penghu Fireworks Festival invites couples to celebrate the occasion romantically together!

◎ North Coast “Love in the Happy North Coast””
The North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration has held a series of events along the North Coast starting from August 8th, including the “North Coast Sea Listening Music Festival – Yehliu Night” and the “Wedding Vow at Yehliu – A Queen-Witnessed Ceremony.” For the first time, a wedding was held at Yehliu Geopark, followed by the “Fate Sealed at Fugui Cape – Wealth and Prosperity Walking Tour” on August 29th. This event coincides with the opening of Fugui Cape Lighthouse and the official launch of the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration’s Fugui Cape Art Camp. On that day, a walking activity was planned, and participants could sign up online for a free DIY kite painting session, followed by joining the “Fugui Cape Lighthouse Opening for Tourism.” In November, Keelung’s Lover’s Lake will greet the public with a completely renovated look, and the “Love Sealed at Lover’s Lake – Romantic Carnival” will serve as the grand finale, inviting everyone to take a stroll by the lake, hike the trails, and explore the ecology of Lover’s Lake in late autumn.

Love-themed souvenirs are also given away, with each set costing only NT$150.
