The 2015 National Theater & Concert Hall Summer Jazz Party begins on September 18th. This year, the event has been expanded, featuring six outdoor performances over three consecutive days and three indoor concerts in the concert hall. Alongside outstanding Taiwanese jazz artists, the festival also invites renowned jazz vocalists and masters from the United States and Denmark, promising an exciting summer jazz feast.

The National Theater & Concert Hall Outdoor Jazz Party has been held since 2009 and this year marks its 13th edition. The free, spectacular performances attract both domestic and international visitors every year. This year, the event has once again been expanded, with six outdoor shows over three days and three indoor performances, creating a comprehensive indoor and outdoor jazz experience that brings together top local and international jazz talents. The outdoor lineup includes jazz diva Tierney Sutton, maverick artist Wynton Marsalis, and others, as well as homegrown acts like Mystery Loss Choir and Infinite Fusion Band, letting audiences immerse themselves in the sounds of jazz carried by the summer evening breeze.

Starting October 8th, the indoor performances at the National Concert Hall feature special guests including six-time Grammy nominee American jazz vocalist Tierney Sutton, international music maestro Paquito D’Rivera, and 81-year-old Wynton Marsalis, who will share the stage with local jazz talents such as Huang Ruei-feng and Tung Shun-wen.
