French street artist Mr. C (Julien Seth Malland) has been traveling around the world since 2003, immersing himself in local life, and his works are full of local beauty. This time, he was invited to Taiwan to create artistic murals for three elementary schools in Hsinchu, Taitung, and Hualien, hoping to depict the beautiful scenery of Taiwan’s traditional culture.

Mr. C has traveled the world for many years, drawing much of his creative inspiration from local residents and children. His works not only showcase the unique features of each place but also exude a strong sense of humanistic care. He often presents his art on ordinary street walls or on crumbling ruins that are about to be demolished or relocated. After living and interacting with locals, he transforms those experiences into creative inspiration, painting them onto the surfaces and blending the stories-filled artworks with reality—allowing people to feel the most genuine face of the land.
