Number one in Kyushu – The Huis Ten Bosch Fireworks Festival Illuminates the Night Sky with 20,000 Fireworks

Visitors to Kyushu should not miss Huis Ten Bosch, which will host the “Number One Fireworks Festival in Kyushu” on September 26. Fireworks masters and teams from around the globe have been invited to light up the entire night sky with up to 20,000 fireworks over the castle’s grounds!

The “Number One Fireworks Festival in Kyushu,” hosted by Huis Ten Bosch, will launch over 21,000 fireworks, making it not only one of the resort’s three major fireworks shows but also the largest fireworks festival in terms of volume in western Japan. The two-and-a-half-hour event is divided into two parts. The first part will feature the finals of the World Fireworks Masters Competition, where top teams that have passed through both Japanese and international preliminaries will compete fiercely in the night sky. The second part will be the “Grand Fireworks Show,” showcasing Japan’s leading fireworks masters. The show includes five giant fireworks with a diameter of 480 meters that burst twice, as well as the massive “Big Star Mine” that can create an explosion with a diameter of up to 1 kilometer. A rich variety of colorful fireworks will light up the sky in breathtaking displays.
